wireless M-Bus / NB-IoT Gateway
SWAN is the largest of all the ducks and usually stays with his partner all his life.
The SWAN2 is a gateway with a replaceable battery that uses LTE Cat NB1 technology to connect up to 250 wireless MBus devices directly to the mobile network.
Provisioning takes place using a NFC interface, thus allowing to use your smart phone during installation. The same holds for the process of firmware update. In addition, remote configuration and FOTA (Firmware-Over-the-Air) can be performed over HTTP/S and LwM2M protocols.
The OMS 3.x and 4.x compliant wireless M-Bus interface operates at 868 MHz and supports mode S, T and C, frame formats A and B.
The following protocols are supported: UDP, HTTP/S, LwM2M.
SWAN2 is equipped with 2 C-cells, which can be replaced if necessary. The operating time of approx. 10 years depends on the frequency of the upload and collection process and the signal strength.
For permanent operation with available main supply, we offer the SWAN3 as a suitable variant.
