WEPTECH at embedded 2024 - Thank you for your visit!

More than 1100 exhibitors from over 50 countries met more than 32,000 trade visitors who wanted to find out about new products and innovations at this year's embedded world Exhibition & Conference from 9-11 April, according to the Nuremberg exhibition company.

WEPTECH was once again represented as an exhibitor at this important international meeting place for the embedded community in the M2M area in Hall 3.

Our product highlights this year were:

  • CHENOA - wM-Bus communication adapter for Honeywell gas meters with pulse interface
  • ORIOL - wM-Bus communication adapter for all types of consumption meters with pulse interface
  • JONAH - mioty communication adapter for the Absolute Encoder AE5 gas meter from Honeywell
  • SWAN2 / SWAN3 - NB-IoT gateway for metering applications
  • AVA1 / AVA2 - Gateway for bidirectional mioty® connectivity

The numerous technical discussions focussed on the integration possibilities of battery-powered wM-Bus sensors and communication adapters for IoT applications in the metering and submetering sector in various LPWAN technologies.

This year, the mioty® LPWAN technology developed by Fraunhofer IIS - a standard of the ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) - increasingly became the focus of trade visitors due to the robustness of the transmission method as well as the cost efficiency and simple scalability of the system.

The WEPTECH mioty® AVA Gateway (for the first PoCs) and the new mioty® AVA2 Gateway for use in the industrial sector therefore met with great interest.

"The large number of interested parties and the intensive technical discussions at our stand give us hope for strong follow-up business. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all visitors once again for their positive response and innovative input and are already looking forward to new exciting projects," says Wolfgang Esch - Head of Sales & Marketing at WEPTECH elektronik.
