WEPTECH as host at this year's PPC customer meeting

On November 8th and 9th the 6th PPC customer meeting took place in Mannheim. As a PPC partner company, WEPTECH was able to act as host for the planned excursion at this year's event and also take this opportunity to present the new headquarters and the new, state-of-the-art production facility, where the BSI-certified PPC SMGW is also manufactured.

Around 2.30 p.m. on Wednesday, the approximately 100 participants arrived on two buses at the WEPTECH site in Landau, where they were welcomed by the PPC & WEPTECH team in a blue illuminated event hall equipped with a stage, a food truck and a bar.

After a brief refreshment, the official welcome was given by the PPC Board - Ingo Schönberg, Eugen Mayer and Janosch Wagner, who took turns to talk about current PPC and SMGW topics. Afterwards, Oswald Maurer - CEO of WEPTECH - took the opportunity to welcome the event participants and personally introduce WEPTECH and the new company headquarters, which had only recently been put into operation.

Afterwards the tour of the WEPTECH production facility took place. Divided into groups of 10, the participants were first equipped with the necessary ESD protective clothing and then escorted through the new production halls by a WEPTECH guide and a PPC supervisor.

For further information on WEPTECH products, but especially on the product segment “Communication adapters for gas meters connecting to the PPC Smart Meter Gateway”, WEPTECH had prepared an exhibition stand where Wolfgang Esch - Head of Sales & Marketing was happy to answer all detailed questions from interested visitors.

The event was completed by the opportunity to network and exchange experiences in small groups, which was used very intensively until it was time to leave for the next destination - the evening event at the wine bar of the Meßmer winery- at around 6.00 pm.
