Update new building: the nitrogen tank is in place
In perfect weather, the almost 14-metre-high nitrogen tank with a capacity of approx. 58,000 litres was installed at our new company headquarters at Maria-Goeppert-Mayer-Str. 4 in Landau, Germany.
Why nitrogen?
Nitrogen is a protective gas. It displaces oxygen and prevents oxidation (such as the appearance of rust). Thanks to the use of nitrogen, we achieve better soldering results in electronics production. In addition, nitrogen reduces the surface tension of the liquid solder, so that it is spread more evenly and SMD pads are better wetted.
Thus, another foundation stone has been laid for the upcoming move of our production lines and all other departments into the new building.
