New machines in our SMT assembly lines
As a specialist for EMS, WEPTECH always has a special focus on the individual technical requirements of its customers.
The decisive quality criteria and central demands from practice in the area of manufacturing services are increasing the design complexity with simultaneous miniaturization of the components, increasing the throughput as well as increasing the process reliability. In order to be able to meet these increased requirements as flexibly and process-optimized as possible in the future, we set great importance on a high degree of innovation in our machinery. In doing so, we are permanently oriented towards the opportunities offered by "digitalization and Industry 4.0" in the entire process chain with regard to any synergies and optimizations.
In the first half of 2022, for example, an RS-1R pick-and-place machine combined with process monitoring via automatic optical inspection (AOI) and a stencil printer (G-Titan) of the latest system generation from JUKI Automation Systems - the world leader in SMT production solutions - were installed.
In addition, a new solder wave (Maxiwave 2335) from Seho (world market leader in nitrogen wave soldering systems) and an ASSURE -X-Ray component counter for optimised inventory monitoring via X-ray-based component counting were installed to support the SMT lines.
