Optimeas offers technologies for optimizing processes in the field of mobile machinery (construction machinery, trains, ships, commercial vehicles) and industrial plants. The aim is to increase the availability of machines, reduce downtimes, plan service operations more optimally and thus conserve resources and create added value through digitization.

WEPTECH elektronik supported the hardware development and produces for Optimeas among others the systems SmartRail and SmartGeolog.

Smart-Rail is a system for condition monitoring in rail transport and for ensuring condition-oriented maintenance. The data logger records the following parameters: integrated odometer/running kilometer counter, vibration measurements, especially on freight cars, recording of torques and speed curves, recording of movement data and monitoring of battery and on-board voltage. SmartRail is used in combination with Smart I/O. This is a measuring module for each signal type (e.g. voltage, current, speed, temperature, serial interfaces). As the interface between the sensor and the measurement data processing, the analog-to-digital converters of the smartI/O series reliably translate analog sensor signals into digital information.

SmartGeolog specializes in geological and geophysical vibration measurements in harsh environments. It is suitable for real-time monitoring during construction activities as well as for long-term monitoring of structures and other vibration sources.

Weptech elektronik was significantly involved in the hardware development of the SmartRail and SmartGeolog systems and still manufactures these and other devices in three-digit quantities each year.
