Full transparency with the new X-ray system
We also want to ensure that we have a complete transparency in our new headquarter. In our old plant at the Ostring, the X-ray system was getting a little old. In the new plant, the state-of-the-art X-ray system from VISCOM is now helping us. Last Friday, the representative of the Factory Inspectorate accepted the system.
The new system helps us directly with quality control, defect analysis, part type inspection and all sorts of other tasks where X-ray eyes are needed. The X-ray unit enables 3D views in layers, making it easier even for less experienced users to better evaluate the images shown. Not entirely cheap, but essential to ensure high quality standards in the long term. In the future, logisticians, machine operators and quality staff will perform their respective tasks on the system.
