WEPTECH CEO Oswald Maurer took part on forum discussion LPWAN at WEKA publishing house in Munich. Low Power Wide Area Networks offer exactly what users really need: transfer small amounts of data over long distances at low cost. In this way, various possibilities for networking in industry, in smart metering, in medicine, in agriculture grow and were discussed by the participants in this forum discussion. WEPTECH has already implemented LTE Cat NB1 pilot projects in cooperation with Vodafone, Telefonica, Deutsche Telekom, Huawei and various metering companies in Chile, Denmark and Spain, e. g. "Aguas de Valencia", which deals with the optimization of water consumption with Narrowband IoT.
