That was E-world in Essen
With a record number of 980 exhibitors and an increase of more than 10 percent in the number of trade visitors, this year’s E-WORLD was very popular.
Decision-makers, trade visitors and industry experts took the opportunity to engage in intensive discussions on current topics relating to energy transition and digitalization.
As in previous years, WEPTECH was also represented at this important international industry event and took the opportunity to present its innovations in the smart meter segment at the WEPTECH booth in Hall 5 / D120.
Our demo metering board, with which the consumption of gas and water meters is transmitted and visualized in real time to the WEPTECH IoT platform using a communication adapter (OMS via wM-Bus) via our SWAN 2 R - NB IoT Gateway (and alternatively OMS via mioty via AVA Gateway), met with particularly great interest.
Our product highlights at E-World were:
- CHENOA - wM-Bus communication adapter for Honeywell gas meters with pulse interface
- ORIOL - wM-Bus communication adapter for all types of consumption meters with pulse interface
- JONAH - mioty communication adapter for the Absolute Encoder AE5 gas meter from Honeywell
- SWAN2-R - NB-IoT gateway with replaceable battery
- MUNIA & ROBIN - indoor & outdoor mioty & wM-Bus temperature & humidity sensor
We were able to welcome numerous experts and interested parties from the energy industry and in particular from municipal utilities to our stand and present all WEPTECH product innovations in the field of SMART METERING & SUBMETERING to trade visitors in detail using our demo metering board, based on various “use cases” and “best practice examples”.
After three exciting days at the trade fair, WEPTECH's conclusion is: “In addition to the direct exchange with trade visitors, E-WORLD is characterized for WEPTECH by the opportunities for networking and the intensive personal contact with our customers and cooperation partners.
For us, E-WORLD is therefore also an important information exchange on current market developments. That is why we will be exhibiting in Essen again in 2026, says Wolfgang Esch - Head of Sales & Marketing at WEPTECH elektronik.
