OMS Board Meeting in Landau

We had the pleasure of welcoming the OMS Board at our facilities in Landau. The third board meeting of the year took place in our premises.

A special topic was the licensing of the OMS logo for certified devices. This will allow OMS devices to be marked with a logo.

After a lunch break, there was a plant tour, including a visit to the Smart Meter Gateway production for our customer PPC. The OMS Group, together with the BSI, has specified the LMN interface and the compact profile for electricity meters – a significant contribution to the standardization of the LMN interface.

Another highlight was our photovoltaic system with a storage capacity of 1.03 MWh. Thanks to a partnership agreement with Energie Südwest AG in Landau, we manufacture the SMGW exclusively with renewable energy.
