mioty Global summit

The “mioty Global Summit 2025” took place on May 15, 2025 in Nuremberg and brought together experts from industry, business and research. The event focused on future-proof IoT connectivity using mioty® technology, which enables efficient and robust wireless networking of sensors.
A key topic was the use of mioty for the digitalization and protection of important resources, particularly in the areas of smart cities, agriculture and civil protection. The robust and powerful mioty technology allows more than one million sensors to be networked via a single base station. This enables efficient monitoring of urban environments and rural regions.
The highlights of the summit included presentations on smart metering, early warning systems for natural disasters and cybersecurity in the IoT. The discussion on the practical application of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and its impact on networked products was particularly exciting.

WEPTECH was also represented with a stand in Nuremberg and presented all of its own mioty product innovations, such as the JONAH communication adapter as a clip-on module for Elster gas meters, as a smart solution for digital metering.
In his technical presentation, Wolfgang Esch - Head of Sales & Marketing at WEPTECH and Board Member of the mioty Alliance - informed the expert audience about the entire mioty ecosystem from WEPTECH.
The event was rounded off by exciting panel discussions, an interactive exhibition, best practices from the field and excellent networking opportunities, which were also used intensively. This year's “mioty summit” in Nuremberg was a successful event for an interesting and intensive exchange for over 200 trade visitors from industry and research.
