Jugend forscht visiting WEPTECH
On Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Aaron and Joshua to WEPTECH. The two impressed the jury at Jugend forscht with their project “Glasses for People with Epilepsy” and were awarded 4th place in the field of engineering, as well as a special prize.
Impressive project, impressive achievement!
As their prize, they spent a day at WEPTECH. During a guided tour of our facilities, they gained insights into our production and experienced how electronic assemblies are manufactured.
In addition, they were able to get hands-on experience themselves: together they soldered a digital FM radio – from the very first solder joints to the finished assembly.
With great curiosity and technical skill, the two set to work. We really enjoyed giving them insights into development, manufacturing, and hands-on practice.
