The ENLIT trade fair, which took place in Milan from October 22 to 24, 2024, was once again a great success. With more than 15,000 participants and 700 exhibitors, the trade fair offered an in-depth insight into the latest innovations in the field of smart metering and digitalization in the context of the energy transition. As in previous years, WEPTECH was represented at this important international industry event and took the opportunity to present its innovations in the smart meter segment at the WEPTECH stand in Hall 6.

The focus was on:

• CHENOA - wM-Bus communication adapter for Honeywell gas meters with pulse interface
• ORIOL - wM-Bus communication adapter for all types of consumption meters with pulse interface
• JONAH - mioty communication adapter for gas meter Absolute Encoder AE5 from Honeywell
• SWAN2 C / SWAN2 R / SWAN3 - NB-IoT gateway for submetering applications
• MUNIA & ROBIN – indoor & outdoor mioty & wM-Bus temperature and humidity sensors

We were able to welcome numerous experts and interested parties from the energy sector to our stand and present all WEPTECH product innovations in the field of SMART METERING & SUBMETERING to trade visitors in greater detail, in particular by means of various use cases and best practice examples. Our SWAN 2 gateway, the new wM-Bus communication adapters CHENOA and ORIOL for gas meters in conjunction with the WEPTECH IoT platform, which we presented for the first time and with which we can now map the entire ECO system from a single source, met with particularly great interest.

In addition, the close location to the OMS Group's stand offered many synergies and provided the opportunity to network with customers, cooperation partners and market companions. This provided many opportunities to exchange knowledge and gain insights into new technologies and projects. As a member of the OMS board, our colleague Wolfgang Esch - Head of Sales & Marketing at WEPTECH - once again had the pleasant duty of warmly welcoming the numerous visitors to the OMS stand and opening the traditional buffet in a relaxed atmosphere, as he did at the last ENLIT. Peter Hedberg - General Manager of the mioty Alliance - did not miss the opportunity to visit the OMS Group stand and find out in person from Wolfgang Esch about all the latest news on OMS over mioty and the mioty end2end solution.

After three exciting and exhausting days at the trade fair, WEPTECH's assessment was as follows: “In addition to the direct exchange with the trade visitors, ENLIT is characterized for WEPTECH in particular by the networking opportunities and the intensive personal contact with our customers and cooperation partners. This provides us with valuable input on planned projects, new technical requirements and future trends. For us, ENLIT is therefore also an important information exchange on current market developments. That is why we will be exhibiting at ENLIT 2025 in Bilboa again in 2025, says Wolfgang Esch - Head of Sales & Marketing at WEPTECH elektronik.
